New Website Extremely Busy

I'm not sure if its because visitors have more time during the holidays or its just some kind of fluke, but our web traffic has been incredible.  Last year at this time the average visitor was staying on the site for around 2 minutes and over this years holidays the average time on the site is just over 11 minutes... that's incredible.

Also, over the holidays our team has put 5 (that I know of) homes under contract and we've had dozens of showings on our listings. 

What does this mean?  I don't know...  maybe the low mortgage rates are finally getting folks off the fence... maybe the nasty, cold and snowy winter in the Northeast is convincing owners up their to go ahead and lower their prices to the point where they will finally sell so they can make the move South...  who knows.. but, one thing is for sure... activity tends to breed activity and we have strong activity...

Hey Buddy, your new website is fantastic!!! I've been on your Monday AM Coffee for a few years and this new site is by far much better than anything I have ever seen for searching real estate. I LOVE the way I can save searches AND with one click see Todays New Listings and Foreclosure Homes. A job well done Sir!

I am one of the "folks" from the great snowy North (NJ) and I am putting my house on the market next month at a REALISTIC price so it will sell. I can't afford to liquidate my retirement accounts in the current market, but I can afford to be less greedy than I would have been on selling my house a few years ago. Houses in my area were selling in the $600,000 range at one time, but I know I can get only around $450,000 in todays market. But, that's okay, I have been here for 14 years and only paid $150,000 for it and I want to make sure I can take advantage of the no capital gains tax before any new tax laws kick in.
