New and Exciting Wilmington Golf Course
Found in Brunswick Forest, Cape Fear National is one of the newest golf courses to the area. This course is a part of a large planned community and it just opened in 2010. It has already found plenty of success due to the beautiful scenery and imaginative design. Golfweek named the course as one of the best new courses in 2010 and it was honors as one of the ten best new courses by Golf Magazine, as well.
This 18-hole public course provides a beautiful setting for a challenging round of golf. It's found just ten minutes from downtown Wilmington, making it easily accessible to residents and visitors.
Designed by Tim Cate, this masterpiece provides the best he has to offer. With undulating land, expansive oak, magnolia and maple trees, plenty of water features, bridges, waterfalls and wetlands, this course provides a little bit of everything.
When you first arrive and step into the clubhouse, you will understand the luxury of a great public golf course. This large clubhouse provides a fully stocked pro shop with indoor and outdoor dining, a bar area and more.
