Getting To Know eXp

I know enough to be able to make a good decision for me and for our group. We're very excited about it, and I think that's one of the things that is exciting for me, is to be excited about being excited again.
The last year's been super challenging. I mean, it's been crazy in the real estate world, but it's been hard to find those bright spots to get you excited. This excites me because I'm going to be around now a national network of top producers that do way more business than I do, in places like California, Arizona, I mean all over the country and now the world.
But I am just so excited because I get to plug in with these people two or three times a week in open masterminds. That's just part of the deal. I also get to use their materials to coach our agents, to coach myself. Their systems, there's just a phenomenal wealth of knowledge and tools that I get, and I don't have to pay for coaching or anything like that.
So, if you're thinking about doing something different ... If you're happy where you are and everything is hunky-dory, you just need to stay where you are and focus on selling houses. No question. But I'll say the same thing that I always say. A company is not going to make you successful. You are going to make you successful as an agent. But a company and the culture of it can make a difference in your happiness and how long you can go in this business. Because I've been doing this a long time, and it's tough sometimes.
We're going to see some changes in our marketplace that are going to be tough. I don't know when that's going to happen, but there it's going to happen. It's not a matter of if, it's just a matter of when. It's going to be really important to be surrounded by people and systems and technology that can help you adapt in the changing market.
That's the reason we jumped over and we came on board is so that we can get on board, learn the systems, and be ready for the shifts ahead, not just in the market conditions, but in the total dynamic of the players that are going to be out there. There are a bunch of disruptors coming to our industry, legislatively, legally, and with different vendors and suppliers.

We can go over a phone call, a Zoom, or whatever the situation, and I'll be glad to share what's going on. Because what I do like about it is, its complete transparency. Everybody's on the same plan. There is no special deals. You don't sign a two-year commitment or anything like that. It is really nice to have that transparency and that level of even playing field, and then you can just make of it what you will.
