Why are renters moving out at an alarming rate?
WECT News interviewed Michael Lopez of Alpha Mortgage and myself about how so many "renters" are purchasing their first home and taking advantage of the $8,000 First Time Buyer Tax Credit AND the 100% USDA Loan Programs. In many cases you can BUY a home for much less than you can rent for, especially when you consider you get to deduct the mortgage interest on your home and gain equity over the years.
